Is .fbx conversion broken?

I can't find any setting that creates an .fbx file that puts textures the Image folder. I reinstalled the current version of Studio twice. Still nothing.

This used to work... stopped working about a month ago with 4.10.  Still not working with 4.12.  Any suggestions?

Are you on Mac or Windows?

I definitely exported FBX files with texture folders when I had 4.12 as since iray was going to CPU with that build I was forced to use iClone and Unreal Engine for my animation and used FBX quite a lot!

I am using 4.11 now so cannot check

Assuming the Daz item has textures & not just surface settings, it might depend on what you're opening the fbx file into as well. These are the settings I typically use for non character exports:

The result out of Daz should/will be an fbx file along with a .images folder. I'm then opening the fbx with Lightwave and after it imports & opens, I then have add'l folders, one being a .fbm folder which is a just a duplicate of the .images folder:

I believe this is just the way Lightwave handles things but have no other 3D app on this system to test that.  I toss one or the other and rename to indicate Maps.
