Eye "point at" problem

If I set both of my character's eyes to point at "Camera", then save and close the file, then reopen it, both eyes are still set to point at "Camera", but are nevertheless in the default position. In order to get them to point at the camera again, I have to go back into the settings, change from "Camera" to "none" then back to "Camera" again. This is pretty tedious, is there a fix for this?

You could just move the camera a little, then the eyes should start looking at it again.
There's also a neat script you can get.

Ahh, moving the camera works. What a strange bug. Thank you!
Yeah, it's a known bug. Like Anki said the manual workaround is to just bounce the camera up and down a little and the eyes will refocus. It's the same no matter what they are pointing at. I got so annoyed I stopped using the Point At. I manually point the eyes instead or use the sight line feature of v3Digitime's Ultimate Pose Master product.
It is a problem I reported al ong time ago, and even then it was a known issue. It is really annoying if you do batch render because the eyes get all messed up...
My work around is to use the "Point at" function, note the eyes settings (rotations), put the "Point at" back to "none", then manually enter the noted rotation values for each eye. Then I can save my scene. Very tedious, but it works...
That's a great workaround, thanks!
Necro apologies, but I experienced the same problem, and worked out both workarounds (a slight shift of the camera to reset current view, and unfortunately, the whole "having to write down all the U/D, S-S, Tw values for each eye, set point to none and re-enter them" thing... grrrr...)
Hoping a mod sees this 3 years later and provides a fix.... We live in hope
