DAZ Studio 4.12 - 4GB Card VS 6GB Card

Six GB cards usually come with approximately1200 cuda cores, four GB cards usually come with approximately 900 cuda cores. Numbers don't lie, but is there really an appreciable advantage to buying a 6GB card instead of a 4 GB card with DAZ Studio? The price difference doesn't amount to very much, about $75, but money is money. Any thoughts? And thanks to all replies.

You can fit more on it
if it doesn't fit it will ignore your card and go to CPU anyway so size matters
@SadKitty_Carrara, I'm aksing stupid questions again. Go for the GTX 1060 6GB. I've found one that doesn't require updating my power supply. Why not spend a little more? Thanks again
Ignore CUDA cores unless you're comparing cards from the same generation
I'd take more RAM over performance any time, but generally cards with more RAM perform better as they have more CUDA cores. This is within the same generation.
When you're trying to decide between different generations, it get's more complicated. I'd take more RAM though.
Cards with less RAM quickly become expensive paperweights, especially when we're talking of less than 6GB.
Thanks, @nicstt. I'll bear that in mind.
the 1660ti comes with 1536 cuda cores, 6GB DDR6 and requires 130W from the logic board and PSU which is really very little draw. If you can loose the ray tracing and some of the AI logic with the first generation RTX cards that I would bet are going to change in the next round RTX cards the 1660ti can be had anywhere from $260 to $320 depending. I've got one now, it can do surprisingly more than I was told.
Thanks @OnlyLuvsCats, @nicstt, and @StratDragon, Your comments are truly appreciated. Be advised that the deed is done, and it was governed by the almighty dollar. After considering a reasonably priced and very promising GTX 1060 6GB, I settled for a less expensive GTX 1650 4GB. It was a struggle, a part of me really wanted to throw caution to the wind. I didn't want to upgrade my power supply and the GTX 1060 6GB met that requirement, but I'm not made of money and $350 is simply more than I can justify for a graphic card. The GTX 1650 upgrades an inadequate RT 730 and its 4GB and 896 cuda cores will serve my needs until my ship comes in. So I've got a new CPU, a new M-board, more RAM memory and, now, a much better graphics card. Now to put them to work.
Thanks once again for your interest and your observations.
