Hey,

Can someone tell me: What pack do I need to buy to get M4 clothes to fit the Genesis 2 Male figure?

Thanks

I have that. I think the issue might be bigger . Why don't any dynamic controls load with the content? and when I load to the figure I don't get an M4 auto fit option.

Is this a dynamic clothing item for Daz? If so, then read further, otherwise ignore me ;)

With a DAZ dynamic clothing item the autofit and the clone won't do much good and won't be triggered on "Fit to". Basically any 'rigging' change (which is one part of what autofit does) will probably make the dynamic cloth not behave like dynamic anymore.

The dynamic cloth controls are a separate tab and you won't find the options in the parameters tab (see screenshots where to find it). Basically you have to define with which items the clothing should collide (by default with everything in the scene prior to the loading of the clothing) and then drape the clothing item.

Since M4 and G2M are not too different as for shapes, the dynamic clothing item should probably still look good on most G2M shapes.

hey thanks for the reply. i really appreciate it. I always think it's funny when people ask "is it for DAZ?' I think if it was for Poser It would be smart to specify, but since this is the DAZ3D website, people should assume that it's Daz. Thanks again. In all the time I've been loading dynamic clothes into my scenes, I never knew that tab existed. The fits usually show up in the parameters for me.. I will try that tab when i get home.

I just simply wasn't so sure from your posts.

The first post has no details at all, so this could've meant regular, conforming clothing. In the second posts you mention at least dynamic, but even some conforming clothing come with many, what people usually call, "dynamic morphs" and you posted a screenshot of the parameters tab as well. On top of that, the Daz store also sells some Poser dynamic clothing, which won't work in Daz Studio as such.

So ... it was a bit of a guessing game here ...

It would be smart to specify, but many people do not. And no, one should not assume that it is for DS because most of DAZ's products work in DS AND Poser, and there may be as many Poser users here as DS users, and many of them who use both.
