Recently did a Dforce sim on Trees w/ Leaves product. 150 frames took three days, 17 hours, 56 minutes and 28.55 seconds. My question is, can you stop (cancel) a Dforce sim, save it and then restart the sim where you left off? Also, after completing that sim I added a clothed figure to the scene. Is it possible to select and simulate one item in a scene without having to resimulate other Dforce items in the same scene? Help!

No, you can't pause a simulation I'm afraid. You can select the simulated items and in the parameters pane turn on Freeze Simulation to lock them while another thing is being simulated.
Thanks. Was afraid to try stopping and restarting a sim but wondered if I could restart one using the "simulate from Frame X to Frame X" option in the simulation pane. Will look for and try the Freeze Simulation option. That should save some time without having to re-simulate everything. Thanks!
