Are my Pear Figure / Voluptuous JCMs messed up?

I'm getting bad distortion with both the Pear Figure and the Voluptuous morphs when rotating the thigh, presumably due to the way these morphs' JCMs are set up. I'm not sure whether this is simply a limitation of these types of morphs, or if I've screwed things up somehow. I've attached a very extreme example to make the problem obvious. Any ideas?

  • Either the link to the joint adjustments is broken or some other product is clashing. Enable Show Hidden Properties in the Parameters pane option menu (the lined button at top-left of the pane in your screen shot) to seewhat else might be in effect.

After enabling "Show Hidden Properties", pJNMThighSide_85_R shows up under "Currently Used" in the Parameters tab. I clicked the gear icon and opened "Parameter Settings..." (shown in the attached screenshot), but I don't really know how to interpret the information. blush

  • That looks legit, it's the main fix for when the thigh is bent to the side.

Is it possible that the distortion is just a normal shortcoming of the Pear / Voluptuous morphs? I was under the impression that these types of morphs would come with their own JCMs that would fix these sorts of issues, but maybe I was wrong and I need to create a custom JCM?

  • I see the same, it starts to form at about 40 degrees bend, just as a bump, and soon becomes more prominent. It seems to be mainly down to Pear figure, I can't immediately see anything that is triggering the effect and shouldn't be on. It may be worth a bug report, though at this late date they may not be willing to introduce a fix that could harm other things.
