This approach is a necessity for dForce clothing.
@Richard Haseltine How so? Given I use marvelous designer my most likely choice would be to hem my shirt on the inside then export as thin/welded so mine would look like the second one. Wouldn't that turned over 90 degree edge fall down flat during dforce the way it's done now?
Curious, I'm new to making clothes and using marvelous designer so I'm looking at getting my workflow down, but reimporting edges like this one back into marvelous caused the edge to collapse either partially or fully!
Well, Marvellous Designer is a dedicated design and simulation tool. I can't give whys and wherefores, but as far as I am aware the adive is to avoid double layers (and certainly fully doubled mesh) in items made for dForce.
@Richard Haseltine - I see, I planned to avoid double layers anyway with a thin mesh but I would have thought that a hem merged at the bottom should be no issue for dForce, I'll have to test this!
And another lovely new outfit from Peache, instant buy as always. :) I love how Peache includes accessories like the glasses or earrings in each set, gives them more character.
Peache is back!

This artist is one of the few who I'll see a new promo for and then click the little cart icon without evening opening the product page or seeing subsequent promo pics for.
There are parts of her outfits that look like they have actual thickness, not just thickness at the hem/edge.
Thank you, I had over-looked this so went back and looked again at new releases and snapped it up!![smiley smiley](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
For that top, though, there's also various displacement presets which look to add some perceived thickness, although I realize it's not actual and that the displacement is there for the details... my only point is that it's likely it's multiple factors acting together.
No displacement options, but there are three normal options default, soft and strong.
Woop... you're right... I was looking at a different top. Gotcha... I'm not sure how she manages the thickness so well...
I like the set. I do wish for some waist adjustment morphs for the sweats to tug them down a bit. They sit pretty high on some characters, there are adjustments but none to create a more lowrise look.
The pants and glasses fit the guys pretty well, with fit control, although there is a bit of a ballon quality in the thighs, and I dialed the pants a lot smaller. They were kind of voluminous even with dforce.
ah~ every comment of yours makes my heart so undeniably happy. I truly am grateful to be supported by wonderful people like yourself - thank you :^) ♡
it me! thank you for the warm welcome ~
this is so sweet !! you are a treasure & thank you so much for your patronage ♡
pale girl is sadly just a placeholder until I finish up my new model. she holds no name and no story but now I kinda wanna give her one >:T
this is so nice & I cannot thank you enough. comments like these are what make me strive to do better - thank you ♡
sending you one million virtual hugs. thank you ♡
so much to say ~
my obvious bias for soft, unsaturated renders aside, this is just so pleasing to look at (kinda like how looking at the right shade of blue can give you a sense of calm). the gold, the pink , the nudes of the skin & hair, the everything is just so, so lovely~
The color palette i copied visually from your promos which I thought were gorgeously soft, so I did my best to make a tribute to your lovely color choice.
I am normally too into saturation so this was a unique challenge for me.
The guys do need the lower waist since women's outfits tend to sit high on their hips well above he navel. They look nice and real though and the transfer wasn't bad at all.
i used the wonderful midday top in these. it dForces subtly but really nicely...just be careful not to give the straps and the front/back radically different settings, else the straps surrender!
thanks again for sharing style and the craft, peache.
it's so much fun to work with your outfits. if you ever decide to start an IRL designer label, let us know. :)

Does anyone know if the "marmalade outfit" comes with a hand pose for the camera....the camera is a smart prop maybe?
Yes indeed - hand poses for both left and right hands - also for holding a photograph - camera can be loaded as a prop or parented to either hand
New outfit from Peache! https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-daylight-outfit-for-genesis-8-females I do believe this will be my go-to outfit for my favorite character. :)
Thank you Jabba!
This looks like how probably a lot of are dressing during Covid lol. Love it!
Picked up the dForce Midday Outfit a couple of weeks ago and just got around to trying it out. Oddly, not only does the top not have a dForce modifier on it, but the straps aren't welded to the rest of the garment. It's not hard to apply a weight map to get around the problem, but It was kind of surprising to see with a "dForce Outfit". It's kind of a necessary fix with characters that don't have large breasts, even thought it comes with pretty good adjustment morphs. The strings on the pants don't work with dForce, either. The vendor weight-mapped the pants so that only the legs simulate, and brushed over the strings so that they don't simulate, either. Tried to brush them back in but they exploded.
Anyone knows what happened to Peache and his/her plans to release the G8F models as well along with the clothes ?
Hello, have you managed to get in touch with them since then? His daz profile indicates that he has not been active since march 12...
