Iray gets stuck on CPU

It is a pretty common issue when Iray fails and revers to CPU. Sometimes it is when it runs out of memory, sometimes jus does it at random for no reason at all and looks like it is not going to be fixed.
Is there any way to reset it without reloading DAZ entirely?
Did someone already report that bug or at least discussed feature to reload Iray plugin?

It isn't bug, just a limitiation, of Iray (I assume).
I sort of understand that it is an Iray bug not Daz bug but Daz could have some function to work around that or maybe pass it to Nvidia developers to get fixed because it is really annoying.
I agree, my CPU carries the most part of the load even though I have GPU selected. My CPU then runs too hot and I have to stop. No issues in Octane like this.
You may try disabling iray in the options panel, so to only let the cpu as rendering device. Then render something with the cpu. Then re-enable the gpu as rendering device. This is told to flush the card vram so may be it could also restart the driver. I don't know.
Please let me know if it works. I don't have time to test it myself as this would imply to force my gpu to reverse. Hope this helps.
