Change the cut of a clothing item

Hi! I had assumed that it's possible to change the cut of a clothing item using photoshop. I'm trying to change the G8 standard sports bra cut but I noticed that changing the diffuse cut doesn't work - also the metallic map doesn't seem to be used?

    Duffuse just chnages the colour, it doesn't affect opacity - for that you need Oapcity/Cutout Opacity (depending on the shader) - black for the bits you want to remove, white for the bits you want to keep. You may also, depending on shader, need to apply the black and white map to some other proeprties to avoid spurious reflections and the like.

    The shader for this clothing item doesn't seem to have an opacity/cutout opacity... is there a way to change that?

    Which shader is it (listed at top-left of the Editor tab of the Surfaces pane)?
