How to clear the timeline?

I've searched and found some instructions on this, but it doesn't appear to work. Everything I find is saying that you need to select the figure or figures, then go to 'clear animation' and choose 'clear figure' or one of the other options there. However, all these options not only clear the timeline, they also erase character shaping and morphs as well. I don't want to do anything to the figures, I just want to start over from scratch on the timeline only, how do I do this??

I usually open time line and where it says Frame 0 to XXX I just change ths last number to 0, this deletes all frames allowing me to keep the pose and morphs used in frame 0.
