JCMs / MCMs - more recent tut? The Daz documentation looks different than the current windows

I'm trying to follow this information to create a JCM for a G8 geograft:

http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/userguide/creating_content/assembling/tutorials/creating_joint_controlled_morphs/start

Unfortunately, the 'Property Editor' is now the 'Property Hierarchy' window and I can't seem to get the same links.

I'm stuck at the part where I'm linking the JCM morph to the controller bone - I can get it to operate at 100%, but not gradually change as the slider is moved.

Is there a more recent tut for this? Any advice?

Thanks,
SW

    Update

I managed to get the morph to link up and work for different percentages of 'bend' - BUT after re-saving the geograft asset and exiting DS, it doesn't work when I reopen and reload.

BUT, if I manually set the morph to 100%, it works thereafter until I quit again.

    Any ideas why?

If I load up a new geograft, it'll work, but if I save the scene subset, it won't work on reloading.

If I manually set the morph at maximum, it'll work thereafter (going from 0-100% just fine as controlled by the master bone) until I quit. Then it won't work again on reopening DS. Even if I save it anew, I have the same problem.

I can only think it's a problem with HOW I'm saving it, but I've no idea what it is I'm doing wrong.

Help me Obi-Daz Ke-Know-bi, you're my only hope.
