Look at camera

Is there an easy way to have the character or their eyes look at the camera?

I use Look at Me II Pose Control.  It does more than just the eyes it will move the head and body also.  Before that I was doing it manually.   Someone else might know of a different solution.

  • There's a property for each eye that is Point at, which will keep them pointed at the camera. There's also https://www.daz3d.com/look-at-me-ii-pose-control which is pretty handy as it can adjust just the eyes all the way to twisting and turning the entire torso as well as making the character look at arbitrary objects or even other characters.

You can select an eye with the "parameters" tab open. In the menu on the left of the parameters tab, one of the options (I don't remember the name, and since I'm rendering, I can't check at the moment) allows you to select any object in the scene (including a camera). The eye will be oriented towards this object. In theory at least, because I often don't find the orientation really correct. Particularly for very close objects. And you can't adjust it. As long as an object is selected in this way, you can't change in another way the orientation of the eyes. You have to click again on the option and select "none" instead of an object to cancel it.

Generally, I prefer to orient the eyes myself with the sliders in parameters.
