Really need a G8/M8 body armor option that hold true for Law enforcement, SWAT, military, etc. With accessory options to change out molle gear for straps for different M4 magazines, pistol mags, grenades, etc.

Couldn't agree more. There was another long thread on it earlier and a couple of vendors said they had something in the works, but nothing so far other than futuristic type items. Every time I watch the latest SWAT series, i am reminded of how there isn't anything like their uniforms in the stores.
I really would like something since every one I have bought just doesn't fit well for my modern scenes
I think DarkDesignEdge is the best one to take on something like this. Herschel Hoffmeyer would be ok too if they didnt go futurisitic or slooty with it. With DDE for example look at their SparTechOps for G8F product. All of it is futurisitic gear BUT if you look at the helmet it's a MICH style combat helmet with the rails over the ears and NVG mount on the front. It even has goggles, a headset and a mic. The NVG's even appear the have the proper style mount on it that attaches it to the helmet.
Both PAs have chimed in on this in other threads asking for the same thing. And while both hinted at something in the works, nothing yet. While i agree both could do this type of outfit justice, I get the feeling that neither want to do a design that exists IRL rather opting for more futuristic instead which is dissapointing.
I would think so as well. Funny in my experence, renders with military scenes haven't been that popular. While I like doing pinups, that does get old after awhile.
GSG9 or KSK would be well received I would think.

I recently hired someone off Upwork and made my own, based off the tv show SWAT. Still a work in progress, but this is what they've delivered so far:

These are the variants that I've gotten created. The Military Police is simply the vest over the Army Uniform with some of the accessories from the Law Enforcement product set. For the FBI, CTU, and SWAT uniforms, I combined the new pants, shirt, and vest with products from the Mercenary (earpiece, gloves) and the StarTech Ops (helmet).
Did you notice the Mercenary outfit for G8? It's not 100% perfect.... but it does the job pretty well as much as I am concerned.
I do some kit bashing when I need a bulletproof vest: I use the vest from "Renegade Soldier Outfit for Genesis 8 Male", in which I "integrate" a central breast plate that covers the oversized zipper. However, the wanted effect is not law enforcement but the British forces protective vest "KESTREL" used in Iraq / Afghanistan with its fairly recognizable collar. The sleeves and other details are wrong but the camo pattern (DPM) covers the worst up. I have to live with that ... until you 3d artists bring better models to the market place! To all artists who work on such projects: PLEASE look at many, many photos instead of creating fantasy products! also look at pictures of how to put on or adjust the body armor .... because a few "morphs" and poses to put on or take off the armor would be a dream product for every buyer!
