The college-student superhero Meteor (aka Gianni) has been a little too proud of his powers. And loved the hero-worship of his kid brother, Jaime. Jaime was secretly tagging along on one of Meteor's patrols, when the hero was confronted by one of his villainous rivals, Fire Dagger. Of course, Jaime's latent powers manifested--and made a bad situation worse. Both inexperienced and untrained, the boy was no help to Meteor, and the villain took advantage of Meteor's desperate efforts to protect the kid. Fortunately, some of his teammates showed up but not before Jaime was seriously injured. 
Now, Meteor can only watch helplessly as the doctors and nurses specializing in treating meta-humans, try to save his brother. Right now he is too consumed with guilt to accept the comfort of his other super-friends. While the rest of the team has left, some to bring the parents, the others protecting the city--and locating Fire Dagger--one--a teacher at Jaime's school--has remained here. Eventually, she knows, Meteor will want comfort, especially if the worst happens. For now, she speaks with one of the doctors, to find out the boy's condition and treatment options. 
(The doctor and superheroine in the back might be my old pals Dr. Burke and the Yule Queen, making a cameo. Maybe.)

I did this in record time for me--2 days from concept to render. Not much of a story here, just a standard fantasy game trope--the Paladin laying on hands to heal a fellow warrior after they are done smiting (presumably) evil opponents. Sir Thomas and Lyssana have found a peaceful mountain overlook to rest and recover after their victory over a band of brigands.

The backdrop photo is an overlook at Petit Jean Mountain in Arkansas which I took when we went to see the eclipse.

Linda (11 years old, almost 12) is all alone playing nurse and patient with her Barbie™ dolls. She is a big fan of Justin Bieber (as you can see) and in her mind she of course is the nurse and Justin the patient and her imagination is running away with her...
