I'm pretty sure this question has been answered dozens if not hundreds of times, but I need some certian shapes and custom morphs for the Genesis 8 family that I cannot find anywhere. So I decided I want to learn how to shape a figure to my liking and if possible redistribute in the DAZ store at a later date when I'm more comfortable with my work. The programs I have to work with are Blender(not sure which release) Hexagon, and Photoshop CS2. I dabbled in both Blender and Hexagon a bit but I am not expert in either. My goal is to be able to create new characters(example a G8F lizard character or anything I want) and seperate morphs for each body part(head, hands, torso, etc) so I can mix and match when I want too. Sorry for the long paragraph, but I really want to learn. Thanks!

Blender or Haxagon would do what you want, pluf some fiddling in DS (adjusting the bones to match the new shape. Note that a morph can't add or remove parts (though DS does support GeoGrafts, which allow you to replace one part of a model with soemthing else and have the results weld together - see the centaurs for an extreme example, though the Genesis 8 eyelashes also work this way). One issue to bear in mnd if you want to mix and match is how you would handle the transition from areas still in the default shape and areas with the new shape (or GeoGraft).
