Issues with DAZ Content Management Server

Daz Content Management server is currently taking nearly 35% of my CPU and DAZ Studio when not even in use. I've taken to manually switching it off and my content is not effected when I do use it. Can I uninstall without effecting DAZ Studio. I'm still using 4.11.

Do you have Studio open? For my installation, There are no entries when Studio isn't open. When Studio is open but idle, I have several postgres entries in processes, but they aren't using any CPU.

    Win 7.

  • This is PostgreSQL, not the old Valentina database engine?

It's doesn't need DAZ Studio to be open it just starts appearing on my cpu almost from the moment my pc boot up. It's something that started in the last week  and I don't understand know why.

That does sound like the old Valentina database, which ran as an always-on service (though it didn't consume many resources whiole idle).

I had an Nvidia update last night and the problem seems to have resolved itself. Why and how I don't know but thank you for taking the time to answer my query.
