Getting rid of redundant data & runtime folders

The explanation to this problem is simple - since I started using DAZ and found some pieces of clothing unneeded, I have always deleted them from People folder, BUT I bet there still is a lot of unused stuff in Data and Runtime. Is there any tool to find files that are not connected to anything that exists in People folder?

I think the only automated way is to use connect or DIM to install and uninstall. I do it all manually, not fun stuff lol. If I delete something, I take a look at the archive I installed from, to hunt down the data and runtime files I need to nuke quickly. If you don't have a ton of stuff, you might be better off deleting it all and installing it back, rather than hunting down the files.

  • If they do not have isntall options (most freebies and content from other sites) you can look at the structure of the original zip to see what needs to go - though there's always the risk that a particular file may be used by more than one product.
