Image sequence to video file

Can someone give me a link to some good software to convert an Image sequence to video file?

I'v lost my old software, so I searched for a new one. But all I found was irrelevant crap.
I've also searched the forum here with no luck. Maybe I just searched with the wrong words.

    There's Pinnacle's Video Spin [free but a few $ for some codex] or of course Pinnacle itself. Little more expensive but does a lot of things for snazzy videos :-)

    I gave FFMpeg a chance. It's anything but user friendly, but together with google it worked.

    And, of course, there's always Blender.

    Avidemux.org. Lots of options for audio and video, best of all: free. Doesn't just do avi, has just about every codec going. For image sequences, load the first in the set, and the rest play automatically. You just need to select the output format and encoding mode, then save. There are a million adjustments and filters if you feel the need to tinker with it.
