Is there any way within Studio to mirror an object -
I looked at the symetry tool, but it is looking for a "figure" or bones. While great for mirroring a pose, it's not an option for something like a statue or a static prop.
Is actually a statue I am trying to work with, and one arm is posed to be pointing or beconing, want one on each side of a doorway. Looks rather stupid if both statues have thier right arm out.
Is an actual way to do this in DAZ or do I have to take the prop into HEX, mirror it, and hope I can get the textures right when I bring it back in?

That should do it.
How simple and cool is that, thanks L'Adair!
Well now... Thank you L'Adair.
Appears to have worked very well, just like described.
You're welcome, guys.
I give all credit to the bloke who posted this trick somewhere on these forums, though. I read about it a few years back.
I've never tried it, but I assume using Y-Scale at -100% would mirror something top to bottom, and Z-Scale at -100% would mirror front to back. I just might need to try that sometime…
Don't think it causes issues in Studio, but scaling like that flips normals.
Does the same in DS, also mirrors the UV mapping, so any writing on the texture and it'll be backwards.
Default settings for DS is to have Backface lighting turned on, so most have no idea that a mesh might be "inside out" or that there might be "flipped" normals on a mesh.
Hmm, could be an easier way to flip normals than using the Geometry Editor, assuming the flipped texture not a problem.
Yeah, in my case it is a statue, want "mirrored" statues on each side of an entrance. So perfect, it's quick and easy.
