Boss Lighting

I have recently purchased the Boss Pro Lighting set and have my scene set up.  This is probably an easy fix that im missing but how can I turn off the shadowbox thats in the way without affecting the lighting?  I tried turning off Visible in Render but that made it off completely.

  • Can you make it 0.000001 opaque?

Is that the "Emitter of light"?

Have you tried using the nvidia clipping-plane/surface? (Though, that will also clip anything in-line with the object, which seems rather close to the model and the visible scenery.)

You can click on the light and then go to the Properties Tab, click on Display and there are a couple of choices there. Hide in viewport, hide in render, make selectable etc.  The right choice will allow you to have the emitted light in the scene, but not the "hardware" the light is mounted in.  I love the BOSS Light system and use it OFTEN.

    I hope this helps you.
