Make wardrobe to a prop

Anyone ever made a wardrobe to a prop? I want to move and rotate a pair of shoes separeted from a figure and without rigging... like a bunch of shoes laying on the floor. Or more complicated: a dress with Dforce that falls on the floor without a parent figure.

  • You could export as OBJ, which woudl slightly reduce the overhead.

yes blender... YES. So easy if you think about it. LOL laugh  Thank you for the kick in the right direction. wink

  • All your dForce settings are going to have disappeared, so you might as well do the cloth sim right there in Blender with one of the presets. Literally, all you need to do is go to the Physics tab for the clothing object, select "cloth" and say, a "cotton" preset. Every other object that interacts with the clothing would be set to "collision", including the floor. Then just hit the space bar to start caching the sim. The cool thing is that you can pause the sim at any time by hitting the space bar and zoom/pan to get a better look, and continue again. Then you can decide if you need the costlier "self collisions" option.
