Problem with weights

Hi.

I need to modify Genesis 3 Male and Female.

i am looking for a Tutorial where is shown hów to Weight the Legs of the Chars.

Male and Female have 4 joints for each Leg. I have Problems to Paint the Weights who are connected to the Pelvis. If i let sit my Char on a chair I got Hard edges.

Is there a Tutoial, or maybe the Possibility to get a education in any Company ?

    We don't normally mess with the rigging of the figures, we make morphs for adjustments such as sitting on chairs. One can either morph the figure or the chair, or both.

    I need to delete 2 Joints from the Legs and i must paint them new.

    To weight a Char is a hard work. If i bend the legs a extreme Rotation, i got hartd edges in the Pelvis/Tight.

    If you delete the twist, or bend, bones while keeping the rigging system the same then you will get bad bends or bad twisting - bends need to be concentrated in the hinging area, twist is distributed along the length of the limb (which is why they have separate bones). The TriAx system used a separate map for each bend (x, y, and z) but that's three maps on one bone (plus scaling and bulge maps) instead of one map on each of two bones, so not really labour-saving. Perhaps a fuller description of what you are wanting to achieve might help.

  • I dont know exactly what to say.

    As i alleady said i want to setup the Joints of the Legs that i have only 2 Joints for the Legs. The Pelvis and the Tight have a special Setup. A Part of the Pelvis is weight together with the Tight. Especially the Cloths have the same setup as the Bodyparts.

    I need to connect the Pelvis and the Tight with two weights. So i keeps smooth if i bend the Tight. But i dont know how to draw the Weights for the Pelvis targetet on the Tight.

    I need the absolut same setup on the Cloths.

    The reason why i put myself with so much work on the Models is because i want to use a IK Setup for the Heel. I can lift the Heel and the Toes remain on the Ground. If i animate them separately i have a lot of work with the Heel if i want them move realistic.

    I must connect the second Joint of the Shin with a constraint. So i can fix the Rotation of the second Shin to the First.

    If i dont use the Constraint the leg is gonna weld with each Rotation. But the Heel IK dies not work together with the Standard Setup. The Constraint of the second Shin does not like the Heel IK. I cannot animate them rightly. So i must Delete the Second Joint of the Tight and the second of the Shin.
