Exporting OBJ to Blender with seperate groups

Hi, I originally had Daz and Blender setup so I could export OBJ files into blender with clothing and body parts as seperate meshes. The character you have seperate legs/face/ears/eyes/arms etc and each peice of clothing was seperate. I have switched to blender 2.8 and can't seem to get the setting correct. Anybody have any idea how to do this?
Thanks

It sounds like you don't have "Write object statements" checked in the Daz OBJ export dialog.
I think you also need to choose 'Split' and 'Split by Group' in the Blender OBJ import options. This will create separate objects in Blender 2.80 depending on what you set in the 'Write Groups' section of the DS export dialog: 'Use Existing Groups' gets you objects corresponding to the face groups in DS; 'Use Surface Names' gets you, unsurprisingly, objects corresponding to the surfaces in DS.
Bang on. Selecting only "Split by Group" in blender for import and selecting "Use surface names" instead of "Use existing groups" for exporting from Daz got me just what I needed. Thanks a bunch!
