How do you turn off the effects of "Click N Render IBL Set" so you can have a clear / transparent background again?

Try, in render settings set Draw Dome to off.
Wondering this also, as the Draw Dome is set to off but it still renders the background.
Try clicking the Default button under the Render Settings tab.
There definitely is a way to remove it since it is mentioned in the product description on Daz store but why it has been made so hard to figure out is a bit disappointing. I managed to remove at least part of it simply by removing the Environment map from the Rendering Settings Tab.
Assuming that you still want the lighting from the HDRIs, setting Draw Dome to 'off' will let you render with the HDRI lighting but without the background.
Dome OFF is not the answer here.
When set to OFF (after using one of the "Click N' Render" light presets bundles), dome will be invisible in render mode. But not in shaded viewport modes.
This bundle of light presets adds a "UberEnvironment" element to the Scene. That's what you see even when Dome is set OFF.
Select the "UberEnvironment" from the Scene Tab. Delete it. And there you go, back to normal.
To reset the Render/Enviroment settings delete the Enviroment Node of the Scene Tab & Re-Add it from the create menu.
These lights are HDRI Lighting and don't use any UberEnviroment elements (UberEnviroment is for 3Delight these are iRay)
On another note you will not see a transparent background in iRay Preview (it will give you a straight gray backdrop), You need to do a full render & save as either a PNG or TIFF (saving as a JPG removes the transparentcy from the image)
Since 4.23 update has anyone else noticed the Click N' Render IBL Set renders considerably "hotter and brighter". This has been my goto light set but with the update. I have had to find a new set to utilize. Hope an update is released to make this wonderful light set usable again.
No, I am running DS 4.23.0.4 Public Build and these HDRI lights look exactly the same as they did in 4.22 for me. Something else must be going on for you. Does your camera have the Headlamp on. That could be a problem.
Daz changed the default value for Burn Highlights and Crush Blacks during the developpement of Daz 4.23, so instead of being 0.25 and 0.2 respectively (at least it's their values in Daz Studio 4.21), they are now set at 1 and 0.
I don't remember if the Click N' Render products do change these values while loaded, but it worth checking them.
If I click the Defaults button on the Render Settings pane, I see Burn Highlights set to 0.25 and Crush Blacks set to 0.20.
Edit: I think I see what is happening for me. I have DS always start with a startup scene, which sets my preferred render settings, including Tone Mapping. So I never saw a change.
I saw folks reported various issues these days related to DS 4.23 but I couldn't reproduce any of them... Yes, just like barbult, I'm using DS 4.23.0.4 PB but there's shouldn't be big differenc from the latest 4.23 General Release... odd.
