Where does the Shader Mixer/Iray Uber fall in the EULA?

Obviously, the safe answer when using the shader mixer is that if you haven't assembled all the shader blocks yourself, then any custom shader that's modifying the Uber shader is a derivative work.
However, given there are obviously cases where Daz's work is specifically intended to be used to create derivatives (e.g. the Genesis 8 base shape... and I suppose that material presets are also technically derivatives of the Uber shader), I wanted to check that I wasn't adding a load of work for myself by needlessly building a custom shader entirely from scratch.

Presets with different parameters (as opposed to presets with changed bricks) are OK as they don't include the shader itself, just the settings.
That's what I feared. What I want to do (while not especially revolutionary*) definitely involves moving around shader bricks, so it's going to be a long hard slog of building it from scratch.
* Being able to tile, mask and layer several diffuse/specular/bump textures separately. The main aim is to get fabric that can be easily customised in different fabric styles with various seamless patterns, but without those patterns being projected over any stitching (or the stitching being tiled as well as the pattern, which would happen if I tried to use the Diffuse Overlay parameter in Uber, along with any displacements). I guess it could be done through L.I.E, but that's not going to be quite as nice as being able to tweak the parameters on the fly.
