Is it possible to install 3rd party stuff with DAZ Install Manager ?

Hello

 

Is it possible to get stuff from renderosity for example to install via DAZ Install Manager ? And where would I put it so DAZ finds it and installs it in the right places ? When I get something from renderosity, half the time DAZ cant find the things, a problem I don´t have, when I install stuff with DAZ Install Manager.

Install Manager has specific requirements, for the structure of the folders in the zip and for an XML manifest file, which most freebies don't meet. However, it is possible to make DIM-ready zips (for exampel using https://www.daz3d.com/content-package-assist ) so some packages can be isntalled through DIM.

I manually install all products, cause in the past, I had problems looking for products installed using DIM, specifically Poser based.  Depending on product date, most Rendo products are Poser, specially older products.  I manually install to DS folders.
