Hi, I am stumped. I am trying to put content from Renderocity (Gravure Boxing Gloves) to use with my DAZ Genesis 1 and 2 model. I have looked at Youtube. (Windows 10 64 bit)
1. I downloaded and unzipped the files in the download area.
2. I went to Public - Public Documents - MyDAZLibrary and dragged the unzipped (extracted) folders from Public Downloads into it.
3. I individually dropped people, data, runtime into MyDAZLibrary (dragged them to the margins, not the individuals folders directly) and confirmed that the content appeared in the existing people, data, and runtime folders and each opened and showed the data.
4. But, i cant find the gloves in my DAZ program either in smart content, content library, or anywhere else. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY HELPFUL TIPS?

Unless the creator added in smart content info (which they almost never do from other sites) Then you will never find the content on your library or especially smart content.
There is a product sold here called the package assistant which you can load your zips from other stores into, it will then add the required information and make a new zip that you can place in your Daz install manager download folder. At which point DIM will install it and the product will now appear in your content library.
I do that with every product I get now :)
*edit* In order to load the item the way you have it now would be to either do a file -> merge, then browse to the item. Or in your Content library, expand either the Daz Studio Formats or the Poser Formats sections and find the item in those trees
While the way the OP did it is clunky the items should show up in the content library. There may be an issue with where the item is, some of the creators at rendo have "interesting" ideas on where their content should go.
When I can't find an item I open the zip file and navigate down the file structure to see where the items went. In this case they're under people-> ?
Most of the time the creator put his stuff under his name so something like people->genesis 2 female->clothing->ken->
If DS is open when you manually install new content, it won't appear in the Content pane until you refresh your content library. Either quit and restart DAZ, or right-click on the words "DAZ Studio Formats" ("Poser Formats" for poser content) at the top of your Content Library panel and select "Refresh."
if you open a window to your Daz Studio install and then open the zip file, you will see the file paths in both. just click down and drop the files where the zip file says they are supposed to go. Example in the attached image, data to data, people to people, runtime to runtime, etc
