trenchcoat conversion

I am trying to convert the items from the trenchcoat outfit for G8f to G3f via the clothing converter product. It has worked for all the items except for the coat itself, and in that folder it says 'no clothing items found' (even though the coat is certainly installed). It seems to be one of those things that some items convert and others don't, but is there anything I can do about this problem?

But have you tried to do a "Force Convert Item" of the trenchcoat on its own? That sometimes works.
