Cannot add texture

Since installing macOS Catalina and updating DAZ Studio to 4.12.0.86 I have discoverd an issue where when you have a primative or just an OBJ file and you want to add a texture file, the chooser window will not allow any file to be added. JPG, PNG, TIF. All are grayed out. I have ensured that DAZ Studio has access to my photos and file access. 

So far I have

removed and installed DAZ Studio

Restarted the Mac 

Tested in a new user

Tried SafeBoot 

Still the issue continues. 

If anyone has a suggestion it would be greatly appreciated.
