O.K. Another Question (Poser 9)

O.K. I set up a scene. I put V4 in it wearing a dress. I put hair on her. I then wanted to move her back some. So, I clicked on her from the top view. Went to move her, and her dress and hair stayed in one place. How do you keep the clothes and hair on the characters when you move them? Also, how do you pose them? I am having so many problems trying to learn Poser 9. Thanks for any information.

    Some stupid questions:
    1. are those conforming items, and if so did you conformed them ( menu Figure - Conform , choose V4 in the pop up, eventually drag from libary until you will see " conform item to Victoria 4" text next to the cursor, than drop )
    2. Are they dynamic?

If the item is conforming it takes the pose of a figure, if it is for example a gown . you need to use morphs and/or body handles to achieve better posing at the legs. ( with hair you mostly use morphs)
If it is dynamic, then you need to make a simulation.

    Hope it will help :)

O.K. I have another question. Does Poser 9 and Poser 4 & 6, work the same? I have a Poser book around here somewhere. Not sure if it is 4 or 6. How about, Poser 8 Revealed: The Official Guide. Would it help with Poser 9? I can't find anything on Poser 9.

I have a Poser 5 book and as far as the basics go it is pretty good at getting you started in later versions of Poser. If you want current updated information in Poser, click Help, then click Poser Manual, it should bring up a PDF version of the full manual for your version.
