Docking panes and adjusting to floor

Hi, got two questions.  How do you dock a pane to the workspace, as well undock?

Second, I accidently found an option to click to have my figure adjust to the floor level and I don't know how I got it and need to adjust again.  Any ideas?

    To drop to the floor use Ctrl/D, Cmd/D on a MAC I think.

    To dock a pane group drag by the top bar until you see a line of highlight colour in the desired dock area. To add a pane to or remove it from an existing group drag the pane's tab (you can also add to a gorup by right-click in the empty area of the tab well). This assumes that Docking/Undocking isn't locked in Window>Workspace.
