Hi, I'd like to ask you something:
Is it possible to use a 2080 ti and take advantage of the cuda cores of a 1080 ti to speed up rendering?
Thanks :)

Yes. iRay will use all available GPU's unless you set it otherwise. (there is a limit but it won't reached under most circumstances).
As long as if fits into the VRAM space, it will use the GPU's installed :)
That's the exact combination that I have. They work very well together. The good thing is that they have the same amount of vram, so iray is very unlikely to drop one card (which used to happen to me what I had the 1080ti and 980ti).
There is a very comprehensive list of benchmarks here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/341041/daz-studio-iray-rendering-hardware-benchmarking#latest
