Files Not Accessible After Mac OS update

Something weird happening. Just updated my Mac to Catalina a few days ago. Just today I opened Daz Studio and got a message saying "configuration has changed. User must reauthenticate" - or something to that effect. Restarted Daz. Message didnt come back so I figured everything must be fine. However, when I go to Open a file, the file (any file) is grayed out and I can't open it (I can't select it, can't double click it or anything). I can navigate Folders, but Duf files are not accessible. However I can still open a file by using the Smart Content window and importing scenes, etc.
Anyone familiar with this issue? I can only assume it has something to do with my recent Mac update to Catalina. Any ideas on how to resolve? Maybe I never "reauthenticated" properly? If so, exactly what do I do?
Mac Os Catalina ver 10.15.1
Daz Studio ver 4.12.0.86 Pro edition 64 bits
Thanks to anyone who can help!

Yes, Catalina is causing problems with DS, especially with opening files. Try installing the latest DS beta, it contains some fixes for that.
As for the message about configuration changes, it's linked to Daz Connect (install system included directly in DS). You need a "key file" on your computer to install content with Connect, and that file is generated the first time you log into your Daz account from DS. If you do major changes on your computer, like an OS upgrade, you need to regenerate the key file to keep installing content with Connect. That's what the message tells you.
Thanks for the insight! I shall look into this. Just two more questions - where do I get the DS Beta and how do I generate a new key file? Thanks!
To regenerate the key file, simply login again to your account from DS once.
For the beta: you need first to "purchase" the beta from the store if you haven't done it already: https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta
Then you need to use Daz Install Manager to install it. Betas can only be installed with DIM as they need to be installed with special parameters so that you can have both the general release and the beta installed on the same system without them conflicting.
Thanks a million!
