Human skin selection for Niji the centaur not working

Hi!

This product https://www.daz3d.com/niji-for-genesis-8-female-centaur comes with a selection of human skin colours, which are supposedly bonuses as they are not mentioned in the original product descriptions. They are versions of pastel purple. But none of these skin selections seems to be working, When selecting them nothing happens.  

Do anyone know how these are supposed to work?

Are you rendering? It doesn't change the diffuse maps, just a few numerical settings, so the viewport shows no changes. I select just niji in the scene tab, not going in and selecting in surfaces and it works. The results I get don't look purple, but a different paleness factor. I think it only looks so purple because of the way it is lit. I mean I see a tiny bit of purple in some of the highlight areas, but not as stark as the thumbnail shows.
