Some character texture packs will come with genital textures, but for those without you'll have to rely on a bit of blending magic to make them work. Opacity maps work well for this so you can gradually fade inwards from the edge to make it look more seamless.
The "default pink" I presume is what the gens load with by default, but this is simply a diffuse colour (212/165/149). Of course, you can change this, but you really need a texture map (an image file), which the genital model itself doesn't come with. As Herald says, many of the character texture sets for M4 come with a matching gens texture map, which will, of course, match the rest of the skin for that character. A good example is Jeremy for M4 by DAZ.
For texture sets which don't have a genital texture you can try colour matching one from a set that has one using an image editor (of course, saving the result as a copy). This can work very well with M4 (unlike Genesis, which requires seamless texturing) as the transparency map that comes with all purchased genital textures takes care of the seams very effectively.
I have Beck for M4. Yes it appears to have a gens texture. But still, it means I have to add a another character to the base M4. Wish I didn't have to. I looked at Jeremy. Perhaps that is OK to use as a character. TY.

Why do you have to add another 'character'?
Textures aren't specific for a character, in most cases. So you can just manually load (if needed...you may be able to use an existing preset to load them) on your character of choice and create a new preset.
