Windows Update crashed PC and now DAZ won't work

OK, so last night a Windows update crashed my PC, and I just got a black screen saying it can't find my desktop. Tried all the fixes on the interwebs, and the only one that worked was resetting the PC and re-install Windows 10, with the option of keeping all my files, it deleted all my programs.
No Worries, I'll just install DAZ again... not.
Open DAZ and it can't find postgreSQL cms. Close DAZ, install postgreSQL cms. Open DAZ - connecting to cms - upgrading cms...
And that's where it stays stuck. DAZ won't open. Tried all the fixes on the threads with no joy.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

It may be a permissions issue - can you access the Content Cluster folder,
%AppData%/daz 3d/cms/ContentCluster/
I did everything recommended in the forums, including the ContentCluster thing.
Eventually resorted to copy my content labrary to my desktop and renamed it. Did a search for DAZ in file explorer and deleted everything it found.
Copied everything back to my content library. Re-installed Daz and DIM, Started Daz up and got the same issue. Shut it down, restarted and then it worked.
Did the re-import metadata thing and good to go, except for one thing. Only stuff I installed through DIM shows up. Everything I installed through Daz has to be re-downloaded again.
Is there a way to fix this without downloading everything again?
Are you sure your content libraries are setup properly?
I read an article recently on one of the major PC mag sites suggesting I not download Windows updates right when they come out. I'm sorry for your misfortune, but very glad I've got delayed updates set up for Win 10.
I've been having problems with missing content and NOTHING showing in my Content Directory, despite deleting links til they were below 10. There is a problem with Win 10 losing files, only to have them show up later, so I've kind of put up with missing content for years.
Today I went through Winterbrose's fine tutorial on managing content and decided to consolidate my many runtimes on my remote drive. As part of that tutorial he showed how the DIM lets you see if there's metadata or not. Quite by accident, I found that once I selected all 2090 of my products, there's an option to save it to a spreadsheet. I did. When in it, I looked to see what fields were there. I included all of the options. There's a column for Installed Directory. Man, what a mess! I have reorganized my runtimes several times over the years. Paths were a mixed bag of directories I don't even have any more! There were over 1500 empty directories when I uninstalled everything!! No WONDER I can't find my stuff!!
I thought this little bit of info might help someone. Y'all take care!
