crashing in content library maintanence

I have an issue that i haven't seen before. I have loaded a couple 3rd party purchases from another site in the past and use the search known folders selection and it populates the library. recently however my program crashes when i click the search ubtton in the content library options. I have wiped the entire program from my PC, then i have gone as far as completing a windows recover to factory and reinstalled DAZ. It still seems to crash though every time i still click "scan known directories for files"

any insight would be great. thanks.

Try disconnecting some of the known directories (if you have more than one) and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply, I did however try that. That was the first thing I did. Then I tried reinstalling Daz, then I nuked the entire drive altogether and that got rid of a few of the gremlins but I still can't seem to get the content library to update properly.

GOT IT! turns out as i was installing through the install manager i didn't install the CMS component and this was inadvertantly causing instability in my content library. Who woulda thought.. anyways thanks all.
