Fitting Boots

Okay, I think I figured it out. So my problem was: Everytime I fit a pair of heels or boots to my character (after making the necessary adjustments of course) I parent them to the right foot of the character. But when I have to move my character (for animation purposes) when the right foot moves, the left one moves with it. And you can't parent the left and the right foot at the same time. But today, I realized that I can create two pair of boots and turn one left and one right boot invisible. Then parent the visible ones to alternate feet. And it worked like a charm. Is this how everybody else does it? I am so proud of myself.

When you fit our boots, parent them to the character, not the foot. :-)
That way, the invisible bones in the boots can match the movement of the body.

Do you mean, parent it to like genesis, instead of the foot.

It is best to add clothing before you pose the character.

In the scene, select Genesis (the top level).
Then, double click on the boots. They will automatically fit to the Genesis.
Or, you drag the boots on Genesis. Then, select "Fit to Genesis".
Do not use the "parent to" function.
Also, when you move or pose, make sure that Genesis is selected, not the boots!
