where is the clothing options for basic child?

    For what figure?- Genesis 2 or the original Genesis.

    For Genesis figures, one size fits all, or near enough. I don't know of any free children's clothing that comes with the free Genesis or Genesis 2, what are you looking for exactly?

    Sorry it's my newbism. I was talking about the basic child that comes with D4.6. I had not realized it is bases on G or Genesis 2. So I can use the adult clothes on the child then?

    Yes, the Basic Child character is a morph of Genesis, and any clothing made for genesis should fit

    As someone who has used child figures in a lot of work, I'll just add that Genesis, thanks to autofit, is compatible to some degree with Kids 4 clothing and accessories. There are caveats however, including skirts and footwear. Due to the Basic Child shape resembling a slightly shorter K4, you can get around some of the limitations by not using autofit and instead matching the figure pose on the outfit worn and parenting it to the figures hip.

    You can also apply Kids 4 texture sets to Genesis by changing the UV set in the surface parameters. Essentially this opens up a lot more options rather than having often ill-fitting outfits or simply clothing unsuited for children. As far as Genesis dresses goes, my long-standing personal favourite is the Daydream Dress. Not only does it fit like a dream on the Basic Child, but it comes with a variety of options and some very useful movement morphs.

    Here's a rather prolific and able provider of quite a large wardrobe of 'normal' type clothing. Most of which is made for Genesis/Genesis2. Also the vast majority of the Genesis stuff will not only fit Basic Child, but is actually 'kid appropriate'. It's all free content and Wendy (Wilmap) has pretty good instructions on how to install it.

    The lack of appropriateness is one of the big drawbacks with using a lot of clothing made for the 'adult' Genesis characters...
