Hi I'm an artist and I'm looking for a teacher / tutor for DAZ and Poser on the Mac. I will pay 60/hr. I live in the Rockridge neighborhood in Oakland and I'm looking for someone to help with hands on teaching (someone in the area in other words) for 60$/hour. I will probably need about 3 hours. I just need to get up and running on the software. If anyone would be interested please contact me, or if you know someone who might be interested I would appreciate if you could forward this to them. Thanks in advance!

Not to discourage you but it normally takes longer than 3 hours to learn how to do 'everything' with these programs.
Basically open the program. Load some items into the Viewport. Decide whether you're going for Iray or 3Delight rendering and apply the appropriate materials. Add some lights, again whether going via Iray or 3Delight makes a difference. Bit of learning curve either way. Hit "render" and watch image develop.
You're welcome to ask questions in these forums and help is free ;-)
There are some tutorials for sale in the store too, some better than others of course.
And there are these free videos by an excellent tutor:
