Can Daz Import MDD files?

Hello. I have animate2 and am able to export mdd files to Marvelous Designer. However, I can't seem to find any information on how to import MDD files back into animate2. Is Daz currently capable of doing this and if not, can we expect to see this function in the future?

    Pretty sure it only exports. The best way to get animation back in that I know of is exporting from MD as obj sequence, then importing the sequence back in using morphloader, then using animorph to put the morphs onto the timeline.

    This unfortunately only works for simple clothing that is just one solid color. I'm using Octane render so the materials don't export with Daz obj exporter.

    Might be against the rules, but I wonder if you can hax it. If its the same file format can you manually install? Is it possible create a file with the same name and time scale in Daz and then replace it in the folder, if theres a data call reference needed?

    I have no idea where to even begin with that.

     

    MDD import feature would solve so many issues of making Daz a pipeline with other software.
