Anyone Know if Poser's La Femme Figure Can work in Daz Studio?

I was perusing Renderosity and came across this fantastic anime-styled figure...But noticed it was for a third party figure called La Femme, specifically for Poser 11, no mention of if its Daz compatable. The Poser stuff has always been 50/50: It either worked with some elbow grease or I wasted my money on something I can't use since I don't have Poser.

I really want this anime figure if I can use it in Daz, but I wanted to ask (since. a google search proved not that useful) to if its base figure La Femme works in Daz, or requires a lot more trouble than its worth to make it work before I throw down cash on it and her anime figure add on.

Shame since its a great anime-styled looking figure. :/

No La Femme does not work in DS anymmore than Genesis 8 works in Poser.

poser weightmapping different from daz sutdio and carrara, and joint rotations different.

Damn, thats disappointing. :( the anime add-on for that figure was everything I hoped Sakura 8 would lead to but never came. Alas.

But thanks for the heads up before I wasted $40 on that.

Which character were you looking at perhaps someone knows of a Genesis character that is similar.

Your best bet would be to ask on Rendo, since they would know their figure best.

    https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/anime-girl-for-la-femme/136389/ This figure.

Sakura 8 came closest, but no other figure of that similar style has been made since her sadly. Just the run of the mill regular ones or the slightly toonier ones.

I would suggest the universal anime head over on HiveWire3d might do what you are looking for.

So does that mean clothing for LaFemme doesn''t work in DAZ and on DAZ figures either?

it can be converted I imagine

you would need to make a clone shape

They're poser weightmapped figures, so no, they won't work properly in DS. They certainly wouldn't work on Daz figures anyway.

if one used the transfer utilty on a clone shape as I suggested they would, just like any obj

Yes, I suppose you could autofit them if you had a clone shape for LaFemme. You probably would have to create the clone yourself though, as I don't think there's any available.

a clone need not be precise just as long as all the mesh it is skinweighted to lies on the outside

simply importing an obj of La Femme then using posing and something like mesh grabber or send to Hexagon and soft select one can get a fairly close shape to export as a morphloader import

( or use Carrara like me where you can pose and use the vertex room)
