Problem with dForce Master - Cloth Simulation Presets

I bought this product the other week and tried to use it today.  It's for simulating cloth and hair.  The only instructions I can find is for cloth simulation and the only thing I can find using their instruction is to simulate hair.  The "ECVHO DFORCE MASTER - CLOTH PRESETS" is nowhere in sight.  Is this a bad program with incomplete info and product or is the instructions out of date and it's located somewhere else?

  • @wildbillnash,

If you scroll down the read me for dforce Master - Cloth Simulator, the PA included a PDF with some explanation about how to use the product. Basically, you get a number of presets that you can add to clothing (once you've added a dforce modifier to them) so you can get different results when you simulate. I started doing an unofficial visual guide for the various presets, but haven't had time to continue it.

  • I had already downloaded the pdf with the instructions.  It turned out to be out of date.  That is one of my pet peeves, instructions that are out of date.  I did find what I needed by searching other tabs and menus that was never mentioned in the instructions.  Now if only I can find info on how to simulate hair.  There are no instructions for them that I can find so far.  Another pet peeve, incomplete instructions.

I don't have the hair simulation product, but I know there's a commercial thread here. As I understood it, you'll need to add a dforce modifier to the hair, then add one of the presets (assuming it's similar to the cloth presets) and simulate. If the hair falls apart, then you'll need to paint weight-maps. If you don't know how to paint weight maps, I learned using this wonderful tutorial by Mada de Leeuw.

  • Hiya!
For the Cloth set there is documentation linked on the ReadMe Page it's listed under the Additional Details section, there is also a physical PDF in the ReadMe's folder in your Daz Studio Library (50109_dForce-cloth-simulaiton-preest-tutorial).
For the Hair set the documentation is only in the ReadMe's folder in your Daz Studio Library (49199_dForce-master---hair-simulation-presets-for-dForce-cloth-engine)
