Hello
did someone tried Goz with Zbrush2020 ? Note: I uninstalled my previous Zbrush version just to keep 2020.
I have a message :"unable to connect with Pixologic....".
I made the goz plugin uninstall/reinistall and manually/with DIM,... I have the last version coherent with the DS4 version.I reinitialized the path in Zbrush 2020, ... nothing worked.
Last try : I reinstalled Zbrush 2018 and it works with this version without changing anything in DS4 !
I must miss something ! How Goz decide about the version of Zbrush to be launched? Do I need to reinstall Zbrush 2020?
Thanks for your help

I know it's an old topic, but I just didn't wanna open another one for this. I recently purchased Zbrush 2020, and when I try adding it to appications in DIM application, there is only Zbush 2019 option, and if I chose it and set the folder path ( I cannot select .exe ), Daz won't recognise installation. It just says cannot find path to Zbrush. I do not wanna install older version of Zbrush. Cmon Daz, please update GoZ for 2020 version, it's March already!
It's quite happy for me to select the C:\Program Files\Pixologic\ZBrush 2020 folder for ZBrush 2019.
I can only say that it is working for me, so I'm not sure what the issue would be.
Actually, Rob just pointed out that the goZ plug-in doesn't place any files in the ZBrush executable folder, and in fact the GoZ installation doesn't need to know anything about the ZBrush version installed. If you check the Installed File list you will see that they go to the DS application folder (for the plug-in) and to the /Pixologic/GoZApps/DAZStudio64/ folder in the Public/Sahed profile (for the ZBrush end).
I would think it most likely it's files and folders in the Public profile /Pixologic/GoZApps/DAZStudio64/ area thata re causing the issue - make sure you have write and read access to those
Hansolocambo also said in another topic that he found a solution and 2020 is working.
I didn't make the clean-up of all my Zbrush versions. That's on my to do list !
Don't know if it's the good way to share a link !
