Hi, can anyone tell me if I update 4.6 to a newer version will it keep all its products, or do they all have to be reinstalled?
also how do I get the update instead of just the new DAZ studio version?

    Go to Help > About Studio. The exact version number will show in the box that pops up.

    The current release version is 4.6.2.118...

    None of your installed content will be affected when you update D|S. This used to be an occasional problem a few versions back when the starter content was included in the program installer, but now all the content is installed separately from the program.

    The only time you have to reinstall is when the starter content is changed, and that will be mentioned here in the forums in the update thread. And that is only the starter content — anything else you've bought, or free content, does not need to be re-installed.

    As for "just the update", it can't be done — whenever there's a new version, it's always the complete new program installation.
