Strange Artifacts in Corners of Eyes After IRAY Render?

The anomolies are basically black lines in the eyes near the outer corners. Not sure what's causing them?

the first thing that comes to me about eyes is you have to render them near the scene center to avoid iray artifacts
you may want to post pictures to get better help
One of 2 things usually.
(1) Too far from scene center. Keep character in centre and move the environement as you need. Known bug. Iray needs to fix
or
(2) change render optimization from speed to memory, or vice versa and back. Seems to internally update something.
Possibly also you characters eye mositure or eye mesh has an issue. Pick other options under surfaces tab.
