SRV When a KOA is not OK commercial plates

I camped as a kid in a teardrop shaped Shasta trailer towed behind a Buick station wagon. You see some cool stuff and you sleep in strange places. I always envied the kid in the big RVs sleeping in real beds and running around the cabin doing 60 MPH down the highway.

But they couldn't fly!!! So sure a little of this is payback and I may have added weapons like some 12 year old kid would have, but I needed complete satisfaction.

If you own an RV or your parents did no hard feelings and you of course are welcome to enjoy the SRV along with everyone else, just maybe not as much.

Happy Holidays to all.

Happy holidays. Even though my ideal SRV would look a lot a lot rounder, more cribbed from 50s/60s vans instead of 80s ones.

Probably just coincidence, but I'm reminded of those space age flying mini-vans from "GridLock" an episode from David Tennant's second year as "Doctor Who".  The episode was, in part, a satiric jab at traffic jams.  In this case, the "gridlock" had been going for literally decades, passangers actually starting families within these self sustaining vehicles or simply growing old.  the congestion is so tight that people could hop from van to van visiting their neighbors and a major event was moving an average of 6 inches to a foot...a year!

The boxy nature of this vehicle reminds me of those from the DW episode.  Again, likely just blind chance.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

I will have to hunt down that episode Bill, I have never seen it but it sounds really interesting. For round trailers how about the old Airstream... actually they still make them and they still look pretty sweet. The future always seems more function less fashion. Don't get me wrong I want to make stuff look cool, what I mean is the cost of making rounded edges VS. welding straight edges. The higher up the ladder you go the rounder things get in my dystopian brain.

Awesome, thank you! I always wanted a caravan or RV vacation! (With 4 kids, my parents figured it was a lot more affordable to simply rent a small holiday house or appartment than to invest in a large enough caravan or RV).

I might consider some interior overhaul though, as I think it could very well be repurposed to things like a dropshop or a spy/news van, and should look great with fresh paint as if it just rolled out of the factory as well. I just wonder how it's gonna land with that stuff hanging underneath?

Gorgeous as always, but rather heavily armed for a 'recreational' vehicle. But perhaps the definition of 'recreation' has changed a little in the future.

Even with all the artillery, it's probably less dangerous to other road users than a modern SUV, though ...

It is a comment on the state of the highway network and the driving of your fellow road-users :D

Originally Sade was going to work on some texture options inside and out but things got busy. I could see doing a SWAT skin, Rescue, Newer and Millitary. Inside as well. Maybe wall to wall shag carpet. : )  That was the reason for the heavy guns. That and Zombies.

It could do with a ladder. I added one that I had but it doesn't quite look right :)

It is made from Titanium Alloy to make it strong and light and stores along the inside of the lifting side so it is available for use......maybe :)

    That looks very cool!!!

I wanted to add so many things, tiny things only one person would ever notice. But time is a veracious eater. If I get to do an expansion pack I'll include add on Right side steps.
