Content path issue

Hello,so I reinstalled content library to my d drive making sure my paths on both IM and DS were set to that, however it ended up back on c drive.

Here is a screen shot showing the IM path and my computers file storage,do I have the drive labeled correctly and if so why does the content keep going back to c?

Thanks

Open the DAZ 3D folder and should find that it doesn't contain your content.  For me it contains a folder for the Install Manager and for Thumbnails.

Yes for me too but it is still taking up  92 gb of space on c drive,is there any way of simply moving that to d drive as well?

You need to check some other path options in all the DIM panels.  I went through this a couple months back & finally got it to work after a number of tries with a fresh install. Here are examples:

Even with everything point to D: paths, Daz still creates some stuff onto C: & no way to get around that, but it's small.  It's the IM00000*.zip files that take up most of the space. I hang onto them as it makes un/re-install quicker than re-downloading, etc. Once a zip installs, DIM creates a .dsx file to keep track.  After the move, if items aren't showing up in the install list or Content, you might have to delete those to wake DIM up to the fact that a zip is ready to install.

Ok I see, thank you, so I'm assuming you'd use the same settings in DS Content Manager?

    Pretty much.

I don't have Poser on this system so think those paths got added when some Poser/Daz content got installed via DIM.
