Just listened to an interesting podcast between Andrew Price and Mike Farnsworth, talking about rendering and the recently made public Arnold renderer.
Just curious if anyone has tried it. (not that I'll be buying it).

I heard of it before but didn't read too much into it.

Like anything, its works well in the hands of those who have learned how to use it. And the gallery is very impressive.

Arnold was embraced by the Project:Messiah guys a while back. I believed they used Arnold to render Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius.

I'm not sure I'd be able to fit Arnold into my workflow, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed by the results. Of course, what other people can do with various render engines always manages to impress me and I still have plenty of room to learn how to master 3Delight and Luxrender before I move onto the more complex rendering types.

What's more complex than a Renderman Compliant Engine like 3Delight?

I don't need no stinkin' interface...you haven't really lived until you've used a Renderman renderer 'bare'...your interface is Notepad and the 'console'...
