Generation X Problem

I installed Generation X, but I do not have a GenX tab. What can I do to fix this?

    Go to Help > About Installed Plugins, and look for Genesis Generation X in the list near the bottom.

    That will tell you if it has been installed properly or not.

    How did you install it?

    It's also not open by default, so if it is there you can open it with Window > Panes (Tabs) > GenX

    Thank you for the reply. It is not in the drop-down menu at all. I installed the correct version (64-bit). I am running the 64-bit version of DAZ Studio.

    If it does not appear in Help > About Installed Plugins, then make sure that it is installed into the correct folder.

    Generation X should be installed into

    C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4/plugins/

    Make sure that you use this path when installing from the EXE installer.

    **Note, the location Jimmy provided is based on a default install. If you customized the location of Daz Studio, then it's your custom folder you need to install to.

    Under Help > About Plugins, the list will be alphabetical and it's under Genesis Generation X, not GenX like the pane tab name is.

    Yes, should be out in the near future.
